Outdoor Adventure Grants

Start a wedding site business?

My wife and I were looking at starting a wedding site business. Basically what we would like to do is have a facility that can host outdoor/indoor weddings and rent out the facility. We were married in an awesome outdoor facility and think that this would be a great business adventure. Since the population is constantly increasing, starting a business like this would be a good oppurtunity. My wife is already scouting locations but the biggest hurdle is obtaining financing to start on. I do not know how getting business loans or grants work so any information you could provide would be great. We live in Texas and we both have excellent credit scores along with bachelor degrees for both. Any suggestions on web sites or people to talk with would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your time.

Outdoor Adventure Atlanta

Small family moving to Denver?!?!?

My husband is looking to take a job in Denver. We live in metro-Atlanta now, so this will be life changing for us! We know no one and I have been through Denver twice on my way out to ski, so I know nothing about the city. We are a young married couple with a 4 month old baby. We don’t want to live in suburbia but not into “hardcore” city living either. We like to eat out, music, museums, cultural events and of course, outdoor adventures. I like small, unique houses with nice yard for gardening. What areas should we look in?

Highlands, U Hills, Bible Park, Park Hill, Stapleton, and “Wash” Park areas are those areas that come to mind.

Centennial and some parts of Littleton wll probably appeal to you as well.
