I know, I know I'm the worst throw straight out there and give it a negative turn away from it all but he failed to get lost or will never be an attractive prospect now? And it's certainly something to prepare.

So take a phone to some kind of mapping device, take a first aid kit and make all kinds of energy from food and drinks they can find. But what if you are in trouble? What if the phone is out of range or for worse run out of battery? What he has exhausted all the supplies? What If Mapper can do nothing against the state? Well the answer is, you just not much you can do about it. I bet you would kill to have your wife nag you now, right?

What can you do to stop jammed hear you say. What you can do is take a look at the SPOT . SPOT is a thick orange GPS tracking device, but that looks strangely like a PDA on steroids that was striking miscalculation bucket cook. But of course, the air is not everything. Especially when it is survival. Spot is here to bail freedom problems, SPOT works in any mobile phone work; SPOT-most extreme conditions – at a height of up to 21,000 feet and temperatures as low as -40 degrees Fahrenheit. SPOT works around the world, including almost the entire territory of continental United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe and Australia, parts of South America, North Africa and North-East Asia, and hundreds or thousands of miles offshore of these areas. In short is SPOT a lifeguard and saved lives.

When Mike Brady has 72 years of the fog of unconsciousness, January 4, 2008 it was just outside a sauna in one of the most remote sections of Alaska with the thermometer
hovering dangerously close to 30 degrees below zero. It could not move and the nearest help was about 50 miles north in the isolated community of McCarthy, Brady got stuck down the stairs near the cottage where he lived alone.

In the first moments on the ground near Ultima Thule lodge in the heart of the Wrangell-St. Elias, Mike Brady was asked if he wanted to live. Having lived in Alaska over the past 50 years, was fully aware of the lethal nature of icy cold, even he struggles to gather his thoughts, he realized that if he stayed on the ground the cold began to take the life of your body. In dozens minutes, it would be weakened by hypothermia, in hours, but it would kill him and all because of a stupid slip.

He knew had to do, I knew I had to get up, eventually getting up and stumbled inside, he went to his cabin and turned on the stove. After a while, he realized he needed help, he realized he had to use this device muscle tangoed now known as SPOT . Pointing to the ground in the southern horizon pressing the button marked 911, Brady position was communicated to the GEOS International Emergency Call Center in Houston, Texas, dispatchers were notified National Guard in Anchorage, Alaska and tens minutes, a rescue helicopter took off and on their way to him. Brady was not blocked no longer in danger of losing his life and was saved by a device had been released two months earlier.

SPOT is a simple device with only four buttons – Support, On / Off, OK and 911, while a life saving device. Spot can let people know where you are, you can let them know you're right or in the case of Mike Brady will allow you to emergency services is in danger. Of course, he is in danger does not necessarily mean that you need a helicopter rescue mission in all the rules, but because it operates in GPS, SPOT alert people to its exact global position in the case of Mike Brady knew he would die alone and bitter temperatures outside of Alaska as a helicopter was the only option.

SPOT is not only a resource for those who work and live at the ends of the earth, is also ideal for anyone regularly everywhere in the mobile phone coverage is poor and do not forget the appearances can be deceptive.
