potential move to Portland or Seattle: What to see and do for a trial visit of the week?

My husband (31) and I (29) is considering moving to Portland or Seattle either. Why? We prefer cooler weather, the outdoors, trees and grass, love dogs, cycling, public transport, active living and healthy eating, and seek a more sustainable lifestyle. In general, we believe that our ideals are better suited to this region most progressive in the country. He is in IT, and I have the same background, but I just received my International MBA abroad (no children, but a dog). We will be in each city for three days in late July and want to know, what we see and do to get a good feel of the two areas? For example, neighborhoods, parks (we both love to run and need lots of trees and grass for us and our dog), restaurants (we love the international cuisine), factories, markets, cultural centers, etc. THANKS!

i can give an idea to Seattle since I was there … neighborhoods to check – if you are looking to actually live in the face of the city in Wallingford, Queen Anne, Magnolia, Fremont, and Ballard. if you are looking to live in a suburb of Seattle I would suggest somewhere in what people here refer to as alias the "Eastside" the east side of Lake Washington – see our Kirkland, (Ideal for someone of IT, as Microsoft is there), Bellevue, or Issaquah. Redmond Parks – check out Park Kerry on queen anne hill by postcard only, the park is very clean gas plants, the park has great discovery trails and is like a hidden grove in the city, Golden Gardens Park in Ballard has a beautiful beach and the beach is located west of Seattle Alki is also a good place to walk and very popular in the summer and gives excellent views of the city has a promenade santa monica type feel to it as strange as it sounds. pubs – check out below pyramid breweries right out of Safeco Field. popular place to go before baseball games. Red Hook Brewery also is here as well. markets – rather than picks and markets also not really, but the waterfront / docks worth visiting.

How serious is the Monster Energy is very active, healthy person?

I wondered how bad Monster Energy is a person living life style I do. I know it's bad for any lifestyle, but I was wondering if mine empty some negative effects. Every morning I wake up and eat Serves 2-3 Cheerios or Special K For lunch, always eat a salad with some slices of Turkey and a slice of bread (balsamic vinegar is my closet), then for dinner I eat a part of what my parents (moderately healthy). I work as a camp counselor and spend most of my morning to be a child slave, can be very stressful. I also 25.3 miles each day.
