help.im a teen whos life is a diet?

Ever since I went from being 210lbs to 161lbs at the age 13 and height of 5’8″ I now constantly am thinking about what I’m going to eat for my next meal,when I’m in a store a have to look @ calorie content,I’m always looking in the mirror,ect

Everyone says your 13 and u do not need to diet at ALL.just get active…

Im not that strict as I use to be. I always eat school salads everyday @ lunch.

I just wish I could be a healthy weight without stressing over what I eat.

I’m only 13 and I do believe that I should not diet but I need exercises I can do to keep me a healthy weight.
I have a stationery bike.I’m thinking about cycling.

Can’t do sports involving running because an injured leg!!!

It’s really easy to get obsessive about dieting, especially if you’re a teenage girl. Think about how swamped kids your age are with crazy, unrealistic depictions of “beauty.” Being pretty doesn’t have much at all to do with the bathroom scale.

You’ve already realized that your dieting is getting out of hand, and that’s often the hardest step. So the first part’s already done! What you might want to think about now is seeing a doctor or a nutritionist. Explain how you’ve gotten hung up on your self-image and tell them about the past weight loss. Also, definitely tell them about your bum leg! That limits what kind of exercise you can do.

A nutritionist or dietician can help you plan healthy meals. That might really minimize all the time and effort you put into counting calories. She can get you in a healthy routine that doesn’t depend on weighing portions and things like that. She can also tell you how much weight you should lose to feel healthier and what kind of exercise routines you should get into.
